)'( International Participant Tickets
Participants come to Midburn from their residents abroad does not go unnoticed. They are an integral part of the Midburn community, as well as the international Burner community. 800 tickets will be allocated to participants who live overseas and will be available for purchase from January 20 January 27th to March 15th, 2018 (or until they are sold out).

International ticket is an individual allocation. Every profile that meet the international criteria will be eligible for an allocation of a single international ticket.

To qualify as an international participant, you must have international “proof of residency” (current lease or accounts with the international profile owner’s name). These tickets are only for participants who are visiting Israel for Midburn.

If you are an international living in Israel, you do not qualify and must get your ticket general ticket sales (unless you qualify for another ticket allocation). Please note that, if you are not an international participant and attempt to purchase a ticket in this sale, your profile will be blocked.

This sale is closed to the general public and only open to 2017 participants. These 2017 participants played a significant role in the Midburn 2017, and therefore earned a ticket for 2018. This sale is also of great significance in creating the event mix, as this is an allocation that allows active participants to start their annual activity early with certainty about their participation.

We believe these participants will lead the way in 2018, sharing our community values with new participants along the way.

Tickets will be allocated based on the following criteria:

Theme Camps – Each 2017 theme camp’s leading team will get special ticket allocations. These allocations will be based on the Theme Camp Department’s criteria and communicated to the camps’ leaders. Each camp leader will be able to buy up to 2 tickets, and the ticket distribution is under their responsibility.  

Art Installations – Each 2017 art installation’s leading team will get special ticket allocations. These allocations will be based on the Art Department’s criteria and communicated to the art installations’ leaders and communicated to the art installations’ leaders. Each art installation leader will be able to buy up to 2 tickets, and the ticket distribution is under their responsibility.  

Volunteers in the Association’s Departments –
Annual Volunteers volunteers who took part in leading a team or a department will be able to buy up to 2 tickets, based on their work in 2017.
Volunteers during the event – volunteers who had 2 shifts during Midburn 2017 will be able to buy 1 ticket. A volunteer who had more than 2 shifts during Midburn will be able to buy 2 tickets.



)'( Participation 2018
This sale is closed to the general public and only open to 2018 participants. Its purpose is to offer participants certainty after choosing to take a significant part in the creation of Midburn 2018. These ticket allocations allow theme camps and artists, either new or veteran, to establish their leading teams in preparation for the event and enable department heads to recruit their volunteers based on a more accurate human capital, expanding the circles of participation.

Tickets will be allocated based on the following criteria:

Theme camps – Each 2017 theme camp’s leading team will get special ticket allocations. These allocations will be based on the Theme Camp Department’s criteria and communicated to the camps’ leaders. There is a different approach to new camps versus veterans, based on the understanding that new camps are facing a recruitment challenge that could affect the camp’s existence. Each camp leader will be able to buy up to 2 tickets, and the ticket distribution is under their responsibility. Registered camps who have any questions can contact the Theme Camps Department directly – themecamps@midburn.org.

Art Installation – Each 2017 art installation’s leading team will get special ticket allocations. These allocations will be based on the Art Department’s criteria and communicated to the art installations’ leaders. Each art installation leader will be able to buy up 2 tickets and the ticket distribution is under their responsibility. Registered art installation who have any questions can contact the Art Department directly: artmidburn.sp@gmail.com.

Volunteers in the Association’s Departments – Each department will get tickets according to its size, recruitment abilities, the implications of not recruiting enough volunteers and other considerations. The department’s leading team will define the criteria for this allocation internally, in a manner that is most beneficial to the department. Each team from each department will make sure to share their criteria with department volunteers.



)‘( General Public Sales
There will be 2 ticket sales open to the public. The first will take place on January 20th January 27th, 2018 at 8pm IST, with 1000 tickets, and the OMG sale (second sale) will take place on March 31st, 2018, with an expected amount of 350 tickets (the number of tickets will change according to tickets sold). In these sales, each profile owner will enter into a queue to purchase up to 2 tickets.

)'( Support Tickets
For those who are willing and able to support the event, 200 tickets will sell for 1,800 NIS each. Please note that these tickets are regular tickets for the Midburn event. The Support tickets will be available from January 20th February 2nd, 2018 until they are sold out.



)'( Children and Teen Tickets
Children and teens are part of the Midburn community. All children under the age of 18 require a ticket and must be accompanied by a parent (who purchased an adult ticket) during the entire course of the event, from start to finish.  

* Please note – children and teen tickets are transferable to children and teens respectively. At the City’s gate – each child/teen must be accompanied by the parent with whom they enter the event, as well as presenting an ID that includes this child/teen. If you bring more than one child, you will need to have a children’s ticket for each of them.

Children (under the age of 14) – Children’s tickets will be sold throughout the rounds of the sale until they are sold out. 570 children tickets will be allocated at 150 NIS each. Every adult with a Midburn profile will be able to purchase up to four children tickets.

Teens (ages 14 to 18) – Teen tickets cost the same as Adult tickets at 810 NIS  each and. To purchase a Teen ticket, send a request to the support team at support@midburn.org and attach a copy of the teen’s ID and the parent’s profile details.

Children and Teen tickets will be sold from January 15th February 2nd, 2018, and throughout the rounds of the sale, until April 15th, 2018



)'( Low-income Tickets and Field Ticket
The low-income ticket program is for those who cannot afford a full-price ticket to have the ability to participate in Midurn. Field tickets are a bit different. They were designed to compensate volunteers who spent a significant amount of time in the field, impacting their earning abilities.

* Please note – these tickets are not regular tickets and therefore are non-transferable. For any requests, please contact – support@midburn.org

Low-income Tickets –150 tickets at 400 NIS each will be allocated to low-income participants. The registration for the program will be open on January 20th  January 27th, 2018 and end on March 15, 2018. For more information about the low-income registration program, click here.

Field Tickets – 200 tickets will be allocated at 400 NIS each for those who will be in the field (event area) 14 days or more as part of a department activity, art installation or theme camps. Any request will need to be approved in advance by the relevant department head. Registration for the program will be open on January 20th  January 27th, 2018 and end on March 15, 2018.

You are now welcome to register as an international Burner and apply for an allocation. In the allocation form you will require to provide your basic details and a proof of residence abroad.

What qualifies as proof? A picture of your current lease or accounts tied to your current address such as bills (electricity, water, cable etc.) with your name on it (the same name as your Midburn Profile name).

Once you complete this form, your submission will be reviewed. If you are approved, you will receive notification via email within a week. There are 800 tickets allocated for international Burners at 810 shekels each. Submissions will be reviewed on a first come first served basis until international tickets are sold out.

Please note that if you are an international currently residing in Israel you do not qualify for this allocation.

)'( General Public Sales
This year there will be 2 two ticket sale rounds open to the public. The first sale will take place on January 20th  January 27th, 2018 at 8pm IST, with 1000 allocated tickets.  The second sale (AKA “OMG Sale”) will take place on March 31, 2018 April 7, 2018 and will have an expected 350 tickets (the actual number of tickets in the OMG Sale will depend on actual ticket sales up to that point, as well as other factors).

For these Open Ticket sales, each Midburn profile holder will be able to purchase up to 2 adult tickets and up to 2 children’s tickets based on their position in the queue.

)'( Special Category Allocations
This year, similar to last year, we will maintain allocations for specific categories: Tickets for children and youth, support tickets, international tickets, low-income tickets and field tickets. For more information about these tickets, please click on the following tab on this page and read the details under ticketing program.

Several important guidelines:

  1. You cannot buy a ticket without a valid Midburn profile. If you have created a profile in the past, please make sure that it works, and reconfirm/update your details. If you do not have a Midburn Profile, you need to create one now since it will not be possible to open a new profile during the sale rounds.
  2. During a general public sale round you will need to enter into a queue (Press me –Each Midburn profile may purchase up to 2 adult tickets and 4 children’s tickets in the general public sales. There will be no purchase of additional tickets using the same Midburn Profile (even if the ticket has been transferred).
  3. Each ticket must be assigned to the individual. If you’ve purchased a ticket for someone make sure to the person you bought it for. Anyone who comes to the event is required to have a Midburn Profile and their respective ticket.
  4. Tickets must be purchased using a credit card. However, the system will not accept American Express or debit card. Payment can be divided up to 5 installments without interest.
  5. The number of tickets for the Midburn 2018 event is limited. Opening a Midburn profile does not guarantee a ticket to the event.
  6. The ticket has your name on it. All tickets can be transferred only to people with a Midburn profile except special tickets (Low-income tickets, field tickets and tickets for internationals. Questions about these tickets should be referred to support@midburn.org only! ). For more info about transfer tickets click here.
  7. It is forbidden to transfer a ticket for more than the original price. According to the Event’s Terms and Conditions, any profiteering will result in cancellation of both the ticket(s) and the seller’s Midburn profile.

When purchasing a ticket, you will have the option to support the Midburn Foundation. However, support is not mandatory.

After ticket purchase completion, you will be sent an email receipt. In addition, you can see the list of tickets purchased by clicking on “My Tickets” in your profile’s menu.

Remember! Midburn is a participation-based event. The event doesn’t exist without volunteers as they are the source of the magic that makes Midburn a unique and remarkable experience.

If you would like to volunteer, you can sign up to volunteer during the purchase of the tickets. If you desire to do so later, you can sign up through the Volunteer page, which includes information on ways to volunteer and participate.

How can I find out if I’m eligible for a volunteer ticket?
If you aren’t sure if you are eligible for a volunteer ticket, contact your camp / department / art installation leader(s) for more information.

Am I entitled to a ticket if I was part of a theme camp last year?
Whether your camp takes part in the 2018 event or not, you should consult with the camp leader what is your status.  

I encountered a technical problem, what should I do?
If you experience technical difficulties related to ticket purchase or your profile, contact support@midburn.org. Please include a detailed description of the issue, including a screenshot of the error if possible. The support team will try to answer all emails as quickly as possible. Please be patient and remember that the support team is made up of volunteers (so be nice).

What should I do if I plan to bring more than 4 children to Midburn?
Purchase the four children tickets during your Adult ticket purchase and then contact the support team for the additional ticket(s) at support@midburn.org.

I’m no longer able to come to Midburn 2018, can I sell my ticket?
The ticket has your name on it. All tickets can be transferred only to people with a Midburn profile except special cards (Low-income tickets, field tickets and tickets for internationals), Questions about these tickets should be referred to support@midburn.org only! For more info about transfer tickets, click here.

Can resell my ticket for more money?
You can only transfer your ticket for the price you paid. Under the Midburn’s Terms and Conditions, any profiteering will result in cancellation of both the ticket and the seller’s Midburn profile.

Is it possible to pay for the ticket in installments?
Yes, you can divide the payment up to 5 installments.

Can I cancel a purchased ticket?
According to the Consumer Protection Regulations, it is possible to cancel a transaction within 14 days from the purchase and up to a week before the event. Cancellation of a transaction involves a cancellation fee of 5% from the ticket value. Ticket cancellation will be done only by the ticket owner, by sending written notice from the owner email (as appears in the profile) to support@midburn.org and under the conditions specified in the Terms and Conditions.

I didn’t get a ticket – what should I do?
If you didn’t manage to get a ticket in any of the sale rounds, there’s not much you can do. Please do not email us about this.
